My sweetie and I had a stunning butterscotch pudding at Market restaurant in St. Helena, last year.

In 2005 someone wrote into Bon Appetit magazine asking them to get the Butterscotch Pudding recipe from Market. They apparently did get and print the recipe, but we haven't been able to find a copy of the right issue ... it would have been from late in the year, like October.

Does anyone have this?

Sorry Fuz
Bon Appetit never did an annual and in my fervor to rid myself of magazines lying around, got rid of all including BA.
Hope you find it....and if you do, hope you can share it, I love butterscotch

Looks like it was October 2005. I've found a mention on Epicurious but not the recipe.

Fuzzy,

It's time to visit the stacks at your local library.

Tim,

We tried the local library already. No dice.

We'll try the Medford library when we're up there next.

Tim,
I'm glad that your library fulfilled your request. I have been waiting for four hours for them to send me a copy. And to think I voted for the extra tax millage for the libraries.
