This is Epicurious' recipe of the day.
I admit that I love potato salad. I usually make my Mother's mayo-based old stand-by recipe.
However, this one looks really good and got very good ratings.
I have to try it.
How about you?

I think I would like it since I love leeks. It reminds me of the German Potato Salad I make in the pressure cooker. I like it better than regular. That one has bacon which is always a good thing for me.

Made the potato salad yesterday. I liked that it was pretty easy to prepare although it took a few pots and pans (I'm lazy and cranky when it's hot, and we're having a heat wave here).
Even though I cut back the recipe by about a third, it made quite a lot.
It was quite good, a nice change from the mayo-based types.

My new favorite potato salad is Ina Garten's French Potato Salad. It is easy, delicious and always a hugh hit. I made it the other day with fingerlings…left-overs make a great lunch.

cookie, I have that recipe in my Living Cookbook, I'd copied it a long time ago from her Barefoot Contessa cookbook but have never made it.
It's on my schedule now; thanks for the endorsement. I love Ina's recipes and have never done one that didn't impress.
Every time I think Roast Chicken I think of Ina and Jeffrey!
