I tried these once & we didn't like them. I don't think we made them properly. Anyone have a recipe? I should be able to just roast them, but I didn't do a very good job. Kale is waiting in the fridge. TIA Kathy |

Kathy, They can have a slightly bitter aftertaste. Tossing the kale with balsamic vinegar/oil vinegar and a sprinkle with salt works wonders. tim |

Dehydrated kale leaves with a bit of nutritional yeast sprinkled over it has a dangerously short life expectancy in my house. Our favorite recipe for raw kale is Kale & Brussels Sprout Salad |

I wash, dry well (making sure to remove the stem) and rub evoo over (a little goes a long way), lay on a parchment covered pan in a single layer and sprinkle with salt. Roast for 15 minutes or so at 275. My 14 year old inhales them. |

I like to wash them and let them dry overnight, and then really massage the oil into all the ridges in the kale. |

The thick center stems are bitter....so make sure to cut them out. I toss with EVOO, a little soy and bake at 250 for 20 minutes. |
