I double it too and have subbed 1/2 the ap flour for white whole wheat. I make up several bags of doubled recipe (with the buttermilk powder) and freeze.

Thank goodness for weights in recipes. I mixed up 5 bags of these for the freezer (doubled) and couldn't for the life of me remember if I had put butermilk powder in them. Normally I wrote on the bag on way or the other, but didn't thisnk time. Was panicked then realised I could just weigh the bag. And it did not have buttermilk powder.

A highly justifiable 'BUMP'

Sunday morning will feature Darcie's pancakes due to overwhelming demand by visiting family. My wife's mother passed away in March but she is famous in this thread for declaring them the best she ever had - in all of her 83 years :!: :D
