Well looky here! Marilyn speaks and the Sun(nny) rises! It is a Christmas gift indeed! So very good to hear from you both Sunny, no...I have tried to find a more efficient way to make the toffee but so far nothing has worked but a single 3lb. batch at a time. One batch takes about a 25 minute commitment including the packaging. I have created a monster... People get pretty bold this time of year about being on the "toffee list" I have one little 80+ year old lady that calls me about once a month concerning her "fix"...I feel like a drug dealer. I gladly oblige her...she's a sweet one. |

Amy Funny you should mention that...our latest Foreign acquisition has expressed interest in helping a bit this year, she participated in making one batch, she is 17 and I don't mind her being that involved in stirring lava. The middle child (11) has been doing some of the vacuum sealing. The youngest is content with eating it. |

Hi Phoenix, Nice to meet you! Unfortunately no, I do not have a good carmel recipe, wish that I did, or if I did I have lost it, the recipe, lol. Happy Holidays, Sunny |

I just bumped the caramel thread since I bought new wrappers. Frank, my 14 year old just wants to eat it whereas the almost 13 year old wants to make it. On his own. . In a few years we need to sit down and discuss dowries and living arrangements. |
