Most I give away to friends, family, and customers. Some insist on buying more than the pound I give them.
I give all of that money to support a Community Garden project that our church sponsors.

Frank,

I love your community garden project...you sent me a link about it a while ago.

I just got off the phone with Marilyn, and asked her to check in here!

Amy

Hi all, I'm Marilyn.

I apologize for my long absence. My life changed drastically in 2009 when I was downsized from a 30+ year career in the corporate world. After a much-needed rest I decided to go to culinary school, something I had dreamed about since I graduated from college. In December 2010 I got a certificate in baking and pastry from the French Pastry School in Chicago. I'm currently working as a part-time baker at a gelato and coffee bar. I'm happy to report that I never get tired of baking, even when I've been on my feet for 8 hours without a break.

I'm glad to see that many of you are still making the toffee. I just finished making a batch myself. But Frank, you put me to shame.

I'll be back after I've had a chance to catch up with everything I've missed over the past few years. Amy, thanks for calling to check up on me.

Hi Marilyn & Frank,

What a wonderful job you have Marilyn!!! Good for you. I am just starting to think about making my toffee, daunting but it must be done...

Frank 66??????? Do you make 1 receipe at a time, or is it possible to make several at one time? All our friends DEMAND a box and now Jerry's ski friends do the same, this is while he is away in Mammoth skiing and calling me to tell me another of his friends "needs" a box, lol.

Nice to back on the board!

Happy Holidays to everyone,

Sunny

Nice to meet you finally, Marilyn and Sunny. I also love your toffee recipe, Marilyn. And Sunny, is yours the caramel recipe that I often make?
Nancy
