I am catering a birthday party next Saturday for two people. It's outdoors and not really casual and yet not super fancy. My question is would it be Ok to use Frill picks? I call the Toothpicks with the Frilly Cellophane on one end Frill Picks. I have never been a big fan of these picks for some reason and I was wondering what everyone thinks.

I prefer frill picks to regular on a tray as they are easier to spot.

What are you using them for? If they are holding sandwiches together, they're good. For making fruit kabobs or that sort of thing you can get nicer picks or forks.

I think they're fine. Use them all the time. I also like the little baboo forks.

I prefer the ones with the little warning flag on the top so I know to remove them before biting into my sandwich.
