Chef's knife, garlic press, and microplane. I've taken small amounts of liquid ingredients in spice jars.

My son loves Amy's mac and cheese. When he was at college, we flew to visit him (CA to WA) with carry on only. I managed to bring a bag of mixed cheeses shredded or otherwise pre-grated and 2 TBS of white wine reduction. I still get comments from the peanut gallery for that. It was a damn good mac and cheese, though. Thanks Amy

Good one!

Okay, I haven't used this one, but I will. Neat trick of the day. How to separate eggs.

Whoa cool. I'd be afraid of pressing too hard and squishing the yolk.
