Lucky for me, I can get some from my niece at any time. My nephew might qualify as well, but he's 17 and I hate to ask.

No, I've only seen it in large quantities. I could get it from the restaurant, but I'd prefer not to. (We use it quite a bit.) If you want, we could go together on a bag, or if anybody else on the board is interested, we could split it up more.

One thing I want to warn you about Paul...this stuff hates humidity. We lost almost a full bag to it. We know now to break it up into small quantities and vacuum seal it.

I don't know if you still want to buy this in small quantities, but I just spotted it on Amazon. 50gm for $12.99. It's being sold by Modernist Pantry.

Thanks SS. That's pretty pricey for the quantity, and while they say it's 50g, the bag pictured says 25g. Useful to know though, because it's hard to keep large quantities of this over time.

That review was hilarious. I went to the storefront, and was amazed at the stuff. Obviously I have no idea what half the stuff does, but I want some of it. Reminded me of how much I loved Chemistry. Time to start researching and dreaming.

One thing I'd really recommend to begin with is Modernist Mac n' Cheese. It's really good, and allows you to use any kind of cheese you like.

I got my SIL hooked on this. My nephews are gaga over it.
