A) I cannot believe we are the only twisted ones; Paul, I expected something and Frank, really? Nothing?

B) Mary, truly stupendous BUT - can you rack your noggin around wine varietals?

Riesling
Cabernet Franc
Chardonnay
Pinot Noir
Malbec
Semillon
Sauvignon Blanc
I could go on... :D

P.S. I love, "Mao, say "tongue"".
P.P.S.Don't stop!

For Chardonnay, often referred to as "Chard," you can play off the word "Charred," as in charred steak, charred salmon, etc. (or a dish with Swiss Chard). Can't compete with Mary's ideas, though!

Lamb-brosia? Lettuce Alone (iceberg wedge)? T-bone Rex? Jackson Pollack (fish with a a multi-colored pepper topping)? Take a Leek? Chews for Cheeses (cheese course)?

Now I know what I will be thinking about all day.

Silly me, that was German... Morel of the Story. I keep seeing this post on facebook on how being bilingual makes you smarter. I seem to be the exception to the rule.

Mary,
These are brilliant. I should ask you for help on a great title for my children's book!

A children's book! That's fantastic. What is it about?

Wino, I was in the mountains for the weekend but now am rested so can dedicate myself a little to your wine question. My first thought was to give the names a little twist and then do a funny version of those pretentious descriptions you wine people love: Semi-yawn, a sleepy little vintage... or Cabernet Frank, an honest swill that doesn't beat around the bush. And then Merstar's Charred-onay: A crusty red, almost black...

I also thought of your veggie course: Give Peas a Chance.

Mary

I think most of those are actual California labels.

Love it, kind of like the Goats Do Roam label.
