I have Paula Deen on right now, and she made a burger/sandwich from:

two raised doughnuts (Krispy Kreme type) as the "bun"
a hamburger
a crispy fried egg
strips of bacon

All sandwiched between the doughnuts. Is this a regional thing? Do people really eat these? I only saw the end of the show, maybe it was a joke or something. I like sweet and savory flavors, so it may well taste really good.

trink.

Not for the fainthearted, but here's the video on YouTube:

Longer version provides a bit of context (as if that's necessary)

Ugh. I also got my first glimpse of the finger licking. Maybe I should watch more of these to aid in my weight loss efforts.

I don't think I could have even eaten that when I was pregnant.

I cannot stand to watch any of her shows, so neither she nor her food ever show up in my house. I don't like the Guy guy either and many others on FN but mostly Paula, Semi-Ho and Guy are the ones I can't bear to watch ( finger nails on chalk board reaction).

I've stopped watching most of what FN offers, and I find that really sad. FN started out as an incredible concept and has just turned into a celebrity circus.

If I may, I'd like to add to the list of FN shows that should be avoided at all costs, especially with the sound on, the nail screeching Neely's. I find her hugely annoying (although she has toned down her screeching as more shows have been taped) and he is so "cloyingly" (is that a word?) attentive to her. I just find this show offensive. My HO.

OMG, DISGUSTING! Yes, I was yelling. I can't believe what people will concoct for attention and shock value. Certainly that is where this began... I'm pretty sure some Krispy Creme addict started this fad and she is just milking it for all it's worth in her "excess is not excessive enough" program focus.

Paula Deen only shows up at my house when she visits Jay Leno or some other talk show type host on broadcast TV. And even that is too often with the finger licking and the blatant flirting with any man who has a pulse. Not attractive behavior, not pleasing to watch/hear. I can't believe she's a celeb.
