I watched the video. Amazing. I also watched the Paula Deen Diet video. Too funny!

I think the use of donuts as buns predates Paula's entry on the food scene...there's a place that has a 'Luther Burger' (as in Vandross) which is a bacon cheeseburger on donuts

Still, I can hardly stands this woman...and now she even pops up with the most ghastly looking kitchenware on QVC

It's what the audience wants, folks. And who is the "they" who says obesity in America is a problem? Jeez.

Speaking of sandwiches:

It's a burger (if you can't tell) sandwiched between two grilled cheese sandwiches from the Vortex Grill in Atlanta. Who needs donuts when you can use grilled cheese? Mmmmmmmm.

So,Trinket, it looks like this is an established thing and PD just capitalized on it. Actually, a burger in between two KK donuts (cut in half that is, to reduce my obesity risk factor) would be good I bet.

(Minnesota just did not do this kind of thing, we fry cheese curds instead!)

One of the nail techs at my salon received a set of Paula Deen cookware for Christmas and is just thrilled to pieces ... that's all we've heard about since. I've been SO good, I haven't said a WORD. But I can't tell you what an effort it's been.

Ugh. Paula Deen...don't get me started. I'm originally from GA, and she's totally embarrassing. No one I know talks like that...or eats hamburgers on donuts. :gah:

This is old news by now but Paula on The View - sheesh, that was a spectacle. And nothing close to spectacular either. Just bad and sad. Starting from the beginning when Whoopie made her close her legs and pull her dress down. She just about flashed her "whozits" to the audience!
But then when they showed that her hub Michael was sitting right behind that camera.... God, she just makes me ill.
My .02!
