I'm glad to hear a good review of this. I figured it was a major chick flick but that's ok, who doesn't like a good one?

I had the big fat Italian wedding. My in-laws were stunned. my mil invited 14 people, including her daughters and step-daughters. My mother invited 340.
I loved the scenery in the movie...although the storyline might be a wait for DVD the big screen did justice to the landscapes.

Your right Java, but Jean's post reminded me of My Big Fat Greek Wedding. That is one that the hubby can sit through and enjoy. The scene with the bundt cake is great.

Now, back to Eat Pray Love.

I read the book when it came out, but I am holding off on seeing the movie...I liked the book then, especially the Italy section

As mentioned earlier in this post, I watched this on DVD. Had a free rental. It was OK!
