As I suspected... it's not playing here or in Saginaw.

Finally downloaded this. It was a lot of fun! Terrific funny performances, feel-good plot, and of course lots of food. I could see watching it again, except I want to cook a Latin American meal to go with it.

Just watched this Thursday night and also absolutely LOVED it, as well as the soundtrack. Great feel good movie, great food, and pretty damn good acting too!! Completely agree on all aspects.

I do feel like it needed a "this movie sponsored by Twitter" at the end, though.

I liked it too. I saw it on an airplane with my little portioned dinner, a total disconnect. I watched The Fault in our Stars on the same flight and kept having to shove a Kleenex into my eyes and fight back sobs. I am such a sucker...

I just watched this when I was visiting friends in CA last weekend and I fell asleep.

I was pretty surprised how good this was; quite a bit better then expected. I think they could have stopped the movie a couple of minutes earlier (don't need the super tidy ending), and the cornstarch scene was weirdly out of place, but overall, quite enjoyable.

I kind of watched this while doing things around the house, I liked it........I did catch a scene that looked like they were at Franklin's in Austin. I don't know if the name was mentioned or not. I've tried and failed to get any food from them (sold out) twice now, hoping to go again in December.....

Karen - It is quite easy to get anything you want at Franklin's, you just need to order ahead of the time of your visit - about 30 days should do it. Then you go directly to the head of the line about 45 minutes before they open to the public, give them your name as they fill the orders of who is there first. See their web site for details.

Thank you Wino, I will do that when I go in December. It was interesting watching the line of folks, playing cards, dancing, and such while they wait. They give someone a sign to hold up that says " food available to here", and people line up behind that just in case. they even sent out some nibbles, but they didn't make it to the back of the line either. Looking forward to it for sure.

Wow, I just went to their site and pre orders are full for December....that is amazing.
