Gordon Ramsey is an ass

I think he just plays one on TV. His UK shows (The F Word in particular) aren't as over the top and he comes across as high spirited but not asinine.

I think British TV is a little more straight laced than we are. When Rafael Nadal played his first Wimbledon, when they realized he was picking his butt prior to every serve, they only showed headshots. Personally, I wish we'd do the same.

Man, the producers must have orgasmed when they met those owners. It is uncomfortable watching mental impairment as TV.

So, this story continues to unfold. Certainly it's completely made the season for Ramsey, and if Amy and Husband can't spin this into some show business money, they they're as dumb as they appear on TV.

Is it just me or is she not a evil  version of the dingy blond (Julia Duffy as Stephanie Vanderkellen) on the Bob Newhart show?

Maybe their grand reopening won't be quite as grand:

Let's see if I understand this one correctly. They organize a public event to "re-launch" their reputation, yet they signed a contract agreeing that they could not do that without the producer's approval. Just another data point of not being too bright. I saw the clip as well the other night and was absolutely amazed at their behavior.

I know America is totally obsessed with anything celebrity-related, but it's still mind-boggling to me that 1,000 people have tried to make reservations to eat there since they officially entered crazyland. I wouldn't step foot in the place!

I'm not at all celebrity-crazed, but I do have a penchant for really, really bad food (and movies, for that matter). Sort of "how low can you go" fascinates me. I'd be trying to get there just to have the experience. I've had some great experiences, but it is the crazy ones that make good stories. So I'll be very optimistic and say it isn't celebrity.
