Fitzie, It sounds like you've already done as much as you can. At this point, if she isn't cooking, it's because she doesn't want to, and you can't force her. For the sake of the kids, you might talk to other family members ... fast food is the road to diabetes. But if they don't support you, there's nothing you can do. |

they are all at my house two or three evenings per week so they do get good food then and a healthy breakfast in the am. The middle boy loves to cook and helps me whenever he's there. I've bought him a couple of cookbooks but Mom won't let him cook yet because he's only 10. You can't imagine the anger I feel. She lived with us a good deal of the time she was growing up and she was my kitchen helper. Seemed to love it. I don't know what happened. I never pushed her, she was just always there and DH who is a total sucker for her made a game of cooking with her just as he did with our kids. I keep hoping she'll change but...............
